Does it work with Making Tax Digital?
Books keeps your income, expenses, mileage and VAT organised the MTD way, and everything exports cleanly for your accountant or bridging software. It's bookkeeping that stays ready for HMRC rather than a scramble every quarter.
Do you take commission?
No, never. You pay one flat monthly price. When customers pay by card you pay Stripe's standard processing fee and nothing on top — no per-booking cut, no per-cover fee, no surprise percentages.
What happens if I cancel?
You can cancel any time, and everything you've built stays yours: export your customers, invoices, bookings and books whenever you like. No exit fees, no holding your data hostage.
Do my customers need an app?
No. Everything customer-facing is a simple web page — they scan your QR code or tap your link. Stamp cards live in their phone's browser, bookings take four taps, and there's nothing to download or forget.
